What a week....

Whew! I have really been busy this week. Seems like everything came due at the same time. We took Chloe to Huntington Learning Center this week. She seems to be having some kind of trouble with school and, as usual, the school does not seem to be concerned if she gets a D. They wouldn't test her to see what the problem is so we are taking the steps to find out ourselves.

Isaiah is being a "boy" as Chloe says. He finally has a couple friends in the neighborhood and he really is full of himself. He is into Star Wars and Transformers......if I had only kept all those toys from Eric and Chris I would not be buying them again.....geesh!

On a sad note.....Aunt June's mother passed away. Bessie Fern had been in Hartsville for a while now at a care center...she had alzheimers. June said she got sick about a week ago and then she was gone. We all hate to lose someone we love so I really have been praying for them at this time.

Our dogs....Tippy, Annie and T-Bone....are at it again. We call the the three stooges! The big one is 6 lbs and the little one is just over 3 lbs. We bought a gate to keep them from going upstairs as when it is raining they use the "grass" (carpet) up there. Yuck. They are almost two (born on Eric's birthday) so you would think they would be trained now but no such luck. They do a great job until the weather changes. We will start them in Doggie Bootcamp next week. It is a daycare from Wednesday 'til Friday evening where they will stay and get trained. Manners are a good thing.

Well, I need to get some work done....going to be a long day but I'll be back!

GUESS WHO THIS IS

Just yesterday Mist's dad, my brother Don, said that we should start this blog so that the rest of the family could see pictures of our grand kids. As soon as we figure out how to do it we will post some pictures.

Sooooo....how do I learn this stuff!?

I guess what I need to learn to do it get the pictures of the kids on here. I don't have any on CD....just photos. How do you get them on here? How do you get links on here? I figured out the page itself but I can't seem to get the other things figured out.

The kids are doing great. Isaiah is definitely all boy..!! And he is definitely his father's son!! Scary thought there huh! Chloe is almost 11 now....come the 24th...and he will be 7 January 4th. Seems almost impossible that we have had them for almost 5 years now. Time flies when you get older.

SIX MORE MONTHS AND DAVE RETIRES!! If all goes well ..... he will retire the end of May. I sure would love to go get some loving from Georgia.....especially necks hug from a little red headed boy....lol. He is such a handsome young fella.....I wish I could be there close to see him as he grows.

Anyway, send me an email and let me know how to do some of this stuff and I'll try to figure out what to write about as I go along.

My First Post

Well, this probably won't be as good as Misti's or Haley's but I will try and do what they have been doing to keep everyone posted as to what is happening out here.

Chloe and Isaiah are in school now so that frees up my day a little but the businesses keep me pretty busy. We also have three little dogs and they are funny and keep me pretty busy. It is like watching the three stooges when they go outside.

Weather here is pretty cool...had to buy the kids jackets already and that was a shock so early in the season but then again I guess it is November. I don't like cold weather....smiles.

I'll try and figure more of this out when I get in touch with Misti to see how to do the fancy stuff.
